It’s been quiet a ride but the new studio is pretty much finished and ready to move in.
When its finished you always just see the result and clap your hands but it’s probably been one of the hardest journeys and most demanding projects i have been involved with.
Logistics (we are in the rice fields), corruption (really? almost everyone?) and all that jazz sometimes made me wonder what i had myself gotten into.
It’s pretty much the reason why i haven’t been able to create new works lately and took over the magnificent position of project manager, architect, client and problem solver all at once.
Anyway, can’t wait to get back in the studio and work on some new pieces that have been in my mind since way too long.
The space turned out beautiful, everythinng is handmade from the tiles to the furniture to the sliding doors and the surrounding area is simply breathtaking with rice paddies and a river flowing by.
Six meter high ceilings and 300m2 space will be enough for some time to create and play and also host other artists for projects.
